I haven’t decided how I’m going to play out the Sean/Cassidy/Finn situation when I get there, but I like the way it turned out the first time through. I don’t plan on stealing any more than I did the first time. At the start of the game, when it asked me how I ended Life is Strange, I gave the same answer I did the first time. I’ll be making some different choices this time around, I’ll be taking some actions I didn’t even know I had the first time through, but I won’t be doing everything differently. Life is Strange 2 is a game about the consequences of your choices – even more so than Life is Strange was. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter if either of you makes it to Puerto Lobos. How you behave around Daniel, the things you choose to say to him, as well as the way you say those things, shapes who Daniel Diaz becomes. You don’t have Daniel’s power, but how Daniel uses his power depends on you. You can’t control Daniel, but you influence what choices he makes. Life is Strange 2 is about creating the character of Daniel Diaz. You’re playing as Sean Diaz, but Sean isn’t actually the protagonist. (It’s a game of choices, but there is never the choice to turn back, return to Seattle, and turn yourself in.)īut what I didn’t realize the first time through is that it isn’t actually a story about making it safely to Puerto Lobos. ![]() It becomes obvious that you’ve done the wrong thing, but you can’t figure out how to correct it. You, as Sean, make a bad decision in order to protect your younger brother, Daniel. ![]() In Life is Strange 2, you play the character of a teenager named Sean Diaz. It wasn’t until I watched some official Life is Strange YouTube videos, while I was playing Episode 4 the first time, that I learned that I wasn’t playing the game I thought I was playing. I’m playing it with a new understanding of what it is that I’m playing. I’m re-playing Life is Strange 2, from the beginning. ![]() I’m going to try to avoid spoilers, but I may drop hints.
